Gastroenterology Physician

We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist for a locum to permanent position in a leading hospital facility in Des Moines, Iowa. • Provide hospital-based coverage while performing inpatient procedures and consultations.
• Conduct 3-4 outpatient procedures daily, including ERCP, and preferably EUS.
• Participate in a 24-hour call rotation from 7 AM to 7 AM.
• Utilize the Cerner EMR system for patient documentation and data management.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure patient-centered care.

• Must be interested in a locum to permanent position.
• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within 3 years of residency.
• Active Iowa License or IMLC required.
• ACLS certification is required.
• Must be able and willing to work inpatient.
• ERCP skills are required; EUS skills are highly preferred.
• COVID vaccine compliance is required.
• Clean malpractice and background check.
