Patient Ratios: RN: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 (rare) - acuity dependent Required Certifications: BLS ACLS NIHSS TNCC (REQUIRED) - please decline travelers that would not be willing to obtain this certification prior to arrival Required Education: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing Skills required: Epic experience Comfortability working a 48hr/week contract - this is not negotiable for this unit Experience with the above-mentioned patients If traveler has experience outside of this specialty - please include this is your offer details ICU RN qualified to float to ED PCU RN qualified to float to ICU Experience with IV medications (vasopressors, sedation, paralytics), hemodynamic lines, proning, ventilator management, telemetry, strong critical thinking and assessment skills, working well in team setting, comfortable in fast pace setting with all critical patients.
