Requirements:
Bachelors and/or Masters degree
Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals(ACVREP)Certification
Minimum 1 year experience in a school setting or working with minors with different impairments
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect (consult) orientation and mobility support to students with visual impairment
Provide orientation and mobility evaluation and re-evaluation support for students in the region
Evaluate students progress on an ongoing basis documenting data to be used to update progress
Collaborate with the teacher of students with visual impairments to conduct the functional vision assessment as it relates to independent travel
Evaluate students progress on an ongoing basis documenting data to be used to update progress reports
