Detailed Description: The Systems Engineer will oversee the architecture, deployment, and maintenance of SQL Server databases within the DIA's IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include performance tuning, disaster recovery planning, and ensuring database security. This role involves collaboration with application teams to optimize database operations and align with mission-critical requirements.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in database management, with 4 years specializing in Microsoft SQL Server.
Certification in Microsoft SQL Server or related database technologies preferred.
Expertise in database optimization, backup, and recovery.
Knowledge of IC security standards and RMF compliance.
