Position Summary | Cellular Therapy/Lymphoma Faculty Opportunity University of Nebraska Medical Center The Division of Hematology & Oncology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha, NE, is seeking passionate, patient-centered, and collaborative physician to join its esteemed faculty specializing in Cellular Therapy and Lymphoma. In partnership with Nebraska Medicine, UNMC’s Oncology/Hematology Division offers patients individualized care driven by the latest scientific advancements at the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, Nebraska’s only NCI-designated cancer center. This dynamic setting fosters collaboration, where today’s research leaders work alongside and mentor the next generation of researchers, all united by the mission of enhancing the lives of cancer patients. Position Overview: The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Hematologic Malignancies with a specialty in Lymphoma. In addition, clinical and translational research background in Cellular Therapies including stem cell transplantation, Chimeric Antigen Receptor Therapy (CAR-T), and novel agents for treatment of lymphomas. You would collaborate with other physicians and translational researchers on clinical and translational research projects involving lymphoma and/or cellular therapies. The cancer center features a 10-story research tower and an 8-story inpatient treatment center designed to integrate clinical care, research, and education for groundbreaking advancements in cancer treatment Key Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive care for patients with lymphoma and/or undergoing Cellular Therapy • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to conduct clinical trials for the improvement of treatment for patients with lymphoid malignancies or cellular therapies. • Serve as a key leader in the development and on site manufacturing of GMP grade cellular therapies for patients in clinical trials • Participate in mentoring additional researchers on cellular therapies, good manufacturing practices, and the conduct of clinical trials with the agents.
