Position Summary | Manage the day-to-day activity of the complex Heart & Vascular Clinical Research Division to ensure efficient clinical research operations and program growth spanning 3 Divisions and 2 Departments within the College of Medicine. Collaborate with the Nebraska Medicine Cardiovascular Service Line Executive Director and Management Team regarding clinical research conducted in Nebraska Medicine Facilities. Provides leadership, financial planning and forecasting for the Division, strategic planning and short/long term goals fostering collaboration between Cardiovascular Medicine, CT Surgery and Vascular Surgery investigators. Manages the life cycle of each clinical trial working directly with investigators, sponsors, other Universities, Clinical Research Center personnel, UNeHealth/SPA, accounting and IRB personnel to ensure optimal outcomes. Directs the research study team. |

Ability to market services to customer groups within and outside of UNMC/Nebraska Medicine. Familiarity with research and medical terminology, grant writing and governmental rules and regulations. |
