Position Summary |
POSTING FOR UNMC EMPLOYEES ONLY Leads the CoPH IT infrastructure, database administration, information management, data processing, data security, compliance for business & research activities in the College of Public Health. Develops annual budget for CoPH technology expenditures. Provides management direction and leadership in computer applications, servers, and daily operations. Supervises, evaluate and support one workstation specialist providing support for research involving the College of Public Health. Provide an advanced level of support which includes work independently on complex hardware and software support for servers/workstations, manage database/websites, peripheral/mobile devices. Educating faculty/staff on the use of hardware and software applications; workstation security administration; file server administration; documentation and technical writing; consulting with customers regarding hardware/ software needs and acquisitions; and special database and/or web projects. Work/consult with campus ITS when needed. |
