First Shift (United States of America)The Bariatrics Center at University Tower is the most comprehensive weight management program in the region, offering both surgical and medical weight loss treatment options for obesity. Our program was designed and directed by physicians who are specialty trained in medical weight management and bariatric surgery. Our providers are supported by a multidisciplinary team of specialists including physician assistants and nurse coordinators trained in bariatric medicine.

Monday - Friday | 730AM - 4PM or 8AM - 430PM
No Weekends, Holiday, or Call Required

Accomplish identified registration, scheduling and patient care activities under the direction of licensed nursing personnel.
Required Qualifications:
* High school education or equivalent required.
* Possesses a Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska.
* Ability to work professionally with physicians, clinic staff and patients in a timely, confidential manner required.
* Knowledge of medical terminology required.
* Demonstrated analytical, prioritization, and organizational skills required.
* Demonstrated flexibility and dedication to team environment required.
* Effective communication skills required.
* Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service to physicians, patients and other internal/external customers.
* Demonstrated proficiency with taking vitals required.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA) upon completion of unit orientation required.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior secretarial experience preferred.
* Prior experience in a physician's office preferred.
* Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel preferred.
