Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Process Specialist to develop and maintain business process design, documentation and implementation for all lending, insurance products and cash management services. Consult with Risk Management and Legal teams to ensure that business process design mitigates risks. Facilitate the implementation and coordinated communication of business processes by collaborating with business leads, support, training, and business system teams, as appropriate. Influence process innovation by evaluating and incorporating industry best practices and obtain regular input from business users and customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain process documentation for lending, insurance and financial services business processes, includes illustrating the flow of activities, inputs, and outputs of the process

Collaborate and communicate with business leads, support, training, and business system teams to effectively implement new or refined business processes.

Influence process innovation by evaluating and incorporating industry best continuous improvement practices and obtaining regular input from business users.

Facilitate meetings & workshops in identifying the root causes of process inefficiencies and help brainstorm potential solutions (simplifying steps, reducing cycle time, or improving quality)

Proactively identify areas for improvement within projects and team dynamics. Develop and implement strategies to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.

Education Requirements

4 Year / Bachelors Degree Preferred in Accounting, business administration, agriculture, economics, finance, computer science, or equivalent training and experience

Years of Experience

4 to 6 years of Continuous Process Improvement experience, Researching, analyzing, and developing business processes. Credit related and lending or financial services operations experience with Farm Credit System experience preferred. Credit policy and procedure interpretation and development experience preferred. Technical writing, business procedure experience preferred.
