The IT Project Manager position provides project management and leadership to the critical initiatives and projects carried out by the Internal IT team as part of its mission to provide a safe, high-performing, supportive and hassle-free IT environment for the employees of the DMSi companies.  The Project Manager may provide planning, execution, reporting, and coordination across multiple projects at various stages of completion and will work with staff in the Internal IT Department (including outsource service providers) and managers and staff across all DMSi Companies.  Projects are often related to implementing or improving the Company's enterprise systems such as Office 365, DMSi 360 (CRM and Operating System), Zoom, LMS, and others.  As the DMSi organization has grown, our need to provide robust, consistent systems across the organization with clear and easy to use guidance is a key focus for the company. 

 RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  1. Leads Internal IT projects for the installation, upgrade, and changes to key enterprise systems.
  2. Serves as primary contact with business management members on assigned projects and maintains appropriate status and communication.
  3. Supervises the status and work of staff resources assigned to projects whether internal or from outsourced partner.
  4. Prepares and participates in project reviews, team planning, and information gathering across the organization to improve prioritization and alignment.
  5. Develops / Provides / Attends / Assists with training internal personnel related to assigned projects and change initiatives, including documentation such as help articles, and online resources.

Experienced in leading technology projects.
Advanced communication and work management skills.
Attention to detail due to technical nature of work and business team.
Ability to evaluate and understand alternatives to existing processes and technology tools in place.
Sound analytical, logical, research and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain a high degree of tact, professionalism and confidentiality.
Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
College degree in Accounting, Business Management, MIS, Project Management, or equivalent work experience in similar roles or with similar duties.
Certification or training in Project Management preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal office environment with use of computers and telephone systems; no unusual physical demands. 
Travel to customer locations as needed, including overnight stays, business air travel, and car rentals.
