Creighton Universityâ??s College of Nursing is seeking appointments for a 9 month, full-time, faculty member with maternal child (OB, labor delivery, and postpartum) expertise to fill a faculty position in the College of Nursingâ??s BSN program. This on-site position is for the Collegeâ??s Omaha campus. The candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in in acute care OB/Labor and Delivery/Postpartum settings with the  flexibility to supervise students in community-based settings. Responsibilities include the teaching/supervision of undergraduate students in OB/Labor and Delivery/Postpartum settings, curriculum development, and academic advising. Other faculty responsibilities include those associated with service and scholarship commensurate with the College of Nursing and university expectations for rank.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess at least a masterâ??s degree in nursing and 2 years of clinical nursing experience in labor and delivery or postpartum nursing. An earned doctorate or enrollment in a doctoral program is preferred. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in classroom and simulation instruction, the use of technology in classroom and lab instruction,  and clinical supervision. The candidate must have a current unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state of Nebraska, or eligibility for licensure.
