As a Compensation Analyst, you will bring your expertise to a dynamic and growing organization with evolving compensation needs across both sales and non-sales populations. This role supports the evaluation, design, and administration of compensation programs that align with Orions business goals and industry best practices. Responsibilities include analyzing market data, conducting job evaluations, supporting the administration of base pay, incentive, and sales compensation programs, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of compensation principlesincluding sales incentive designand the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compensation practices are fair, competitive, and aligned with performance, helping to support employee engagement and retention. Analyze, evaluate, and classify new and existing positions, leveraging market data and internal benchmarks to support compensation recommendations and ensure consistent titling and leveling across the organization
Conduct market pricing and benchmarking by participating in surveys, analyzing results, and assessing internal competitivenessparticularly for complex or hard-to-benchmark roles
Review and analyze proposed salary actions, promotions, and job changes to ensure alignment with compensation structures, internal equity, and policy compliance
Administer and support the annual merit and bonus cycles, including data preparation, system functionality, user support, and reporting
Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of both broad-based and variable compensation programsincluding base pay, incentive plans, and sales compensationto support organizational goals
Support the end-to-end execution of sales compensation processes: develop and maintain plan documentation, ensure timely and accurate payments, and analyze plan effectiveness
Assist in the administration and maintenance of sales compensation data for accounting requests, budget analysis, reconciliation, and ad hoc audits
Identify and recommend improvements to compensation practices, tools, and reporting processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with business needs
Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to provide compensation guidance, develop job descriptions, and support talent decisions with data-driven insights
Contribute to the design and delivery of compensation training and education for managers and team members
Ensure compliance with applicable compensation regulations and internal governance, and support audits, accounting inquiries, and budget reconciliations as needed
Perform other compensation-related duties and special projects as assigned.
Has foundational knowledge of compensation program development, analysis, and administration, with a strong willingness to grow and expand expertise
Has the ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Has strong organization and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to work independently while contributing as an effective team member
Has a strong analytical, process management, and decision-making skills, with an openness to building cultural awareness and applying it in compensation practices
Self-starts with solid project management capabilities; manages multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, tracks progress, meets deadlines, and adapts to changing priorities
Has demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, problem-solve effectively, and deliver high-quality results under pressure
Has Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with a continuous learning mindset to improve technical capabilities
Has clear and professional communication skills, including strong written, verbal, and active listening abilities
Has a Bachelors degree, or equivalent work experience in an analytical position (i.e. compensation professional, financial analyst, etc.)
Preferably has Certified Compensation Professional certification from World at Work
Preferably has a minimum of 2 years of relevant compensation experience

Salary Range:
$67,262.00 - $100,159.00The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
