Job title: Talent & People Intern
Compensation: $18-$20 per hour
Location:  Omaha, NE â?? Hybrid 

The job: 
As a Talent & People Intern at Buildertrend, youâ??ll play a key role in building the teams that bring our mission to lifeâ??helping people lead better lives through better work. Youâ??ll support every step of the hiring and onboarding journey, making sure new team members feel equipped, informed, and ready to make an impact. From career fairs to candidate communications, your work will shape how talent experiences Buildertrend from the very first interaction. Behind the scenes, youâ??ll help us grow a workplace where people thriveâ??so they can do their best work, and live their best lives.

What you will do: 
�    Assist and support the full-cycle recruitment process, including requisition creation, candidate screening, offer extension, preboarding, and onboarding.
�    Communicate with candidates and provide timely updates to ensure a positive experience.
�    Support sourcing efforts by identifying potential candidates.
�    Contribute to special projects for the team on an as-needed basis.
�    Partner with team members to refine onboarding workflows and documentation.
�    Attend career fairs or virtual hiring events.
�    Support general People team initiatives, including internal events or engagement programs.
 

Who you are and what you need: 
â?¢Â Â   Currently enrolled in a bachelorâ??s degree program in human resources, business administration, communications, psychology, or related field.
�    Interest in recruiting, human resources or organizational development.
�    Ability to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during the summer, and part-time (10-20 hours per week) during the school year
�    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
�    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
�    Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
�    Comfortable with Microsoft Office; familiarity with an ATS is a plus.
�    Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and adapt in a dynamic environment.
