PRODUCE CLERK, Main Street Market - Scottsbluff, NE

Scottsbluff Main Street Market, a leading grocery store in Scottsbluff, NE, is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Produce Clerk. As a Produce Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining the appearance and quality of our produce department, and assisting with kitchen and food service tasks.  The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background, knowledge of produce and food safety regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with their produce needs in a friendly and professional manner
- Stock and rotate produce items to ensure freshness and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized produce department, including displays and storage areas
- Assist with food preparation and packaging in the kitchen
- Provide support to the deli and bakery departments as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and promotions to provide helpful recommendations to customers

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service and/or retail preferred
- Knowledge of produce and food safety regulations is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
