Production Operator

We have a career opportunity for a Production Operator. As a Production Operator you will be responsible for the daily manufacturing operations and process oversight.

This position will be located at 4410 S 102nd St., Omaha, NE, working with different management levels and support personnel in other office locations.

The impact you will have:

  • Assemble, operate and clean process equipment used in the manufacturing processes.
  • Operate test equipment such as pH meters.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Assist the Production Supervisors, Production Managers, Production and Quality Assurance personnel in troubleshooting and determining root cause of process deviations.
  • Assist Technical Services on process improvement and product development projects as assigned by supervisor.
  • Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and safety SOPs and provide recommendations to the Safety Committee when appropriate.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving or transferring of products, materials or components to be used, stored or sold by ALI-PM.

What we are looking for:

  • High School Diploma.
  • The ability to competently perform processing procedures.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cGMP, and manufacturing documentation, preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to learn, work hands-on and with a sense of urgency, in a fast-paced and diverse product manufacturing environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Physical requirements may include working with enzyme products, occasionally rolling or moving drums weighing from 50-350lbs., and lifting drums weighing up to 120lbs.; using material handling equipment such as barrel carts, dollies, pallet jacks and forklifts; bending, twisting and lifting material out of drums and boxes; working with and handling hazardous chemicals.
