Job Description:As a Lead Fertilization Technician at HEROES Lawn Care, you will be managing lawn care services within your territory. A successful fertilization technician will be able to spot concerns, find the solution and maintain a healthy lawn for the customer. You will be required to work with different treatment plans as well as communicate with customers and leads of other division to provide the best lawn for the customer. Fertilizer Technician’s ensure the safety and appropriate application of chemical products and fertilizer to enhance the quality of our client’s lawn.Responsibilities:- Ensures the safe and appropriate application of chemical products and fertilizer to enhance the quality of our clients’ lawns.
- Interacting with clients and branch personnel as to activities as it relates to the clients.
- Responsible for organization of equipment and products in your assigned vehicle
- Assist in sales growth and building customer base through contact on service routes.
- Provide assistance to other service lines as needed
- Identification-of insects, weeds, and diseases as it relates to job function and implement appropriate control solutions.
- Equipment and Warehouse-ensures standards of cleanliness are being adhered to daily.
- Safety-responsible for personal, equipment and vehicular safety as it relates to job requirements.
- Provide service to residential customers by making lawn applications, diagnosing, and correcting lawn problems through service calls and other customer communications.
- Perform all functions of the lawn care position with crew members.
- Follow a daily schedule, ensuring timely arrival at each account
- Providing additional services through aeration, soil amendment, and over seeding.
- Opportunities to cross-train in other areas of business for growth and advancement.

Required Qualifications:- GED or high school diploma required
- OISC Registered Technician or Applicator license for category 3A, 3 B or both
- Valid driver’s license required
Additional Qualifications:- Experience in turf care and landscape pesticide treatments is preferred
- Working knowledge of CRM programs
- Very detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to keep efficient notes and records
- High energy, positive attitude, and forward thinking while working independently
- Knowledge of tools, equipment, techniques, skills, materials, and mechanics of chemical application processes.
- Must be able to demonstrate willingness to be flexible and adapt to change
- Ability to follow policy and procedures
- Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure.
Compensation & Benefit Details:- Compensation: $50,000-$70,000
- Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, licensing and/or skill level.

Physical Requirements:- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
- Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability” and must be able to travel on short notice.
- Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods
