Holiday Bright Lights (HBL) has been supplying holiday lighting products for over a decade.  As our company evolves each year, we still have our core beliefs of providing quality holiday lighting products – while we continue to innovate products for the future. 

HBL is looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) who will be responsible for providing the absolute best customer and administrative support in a fast-paced office environment. The CSR should understand office procedures, be very detailed, have the ability to communicate effectively, problem solve and be able to multitask throughout the day. This individual must always maintain a helpful and professional relationship with our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with HBL sales team, operations, and accounting departments to ensure customer service and accuracy in processing orders
  • Manage incoming customer calls and emails
  • Identify, assess and resolve customer needs
  • Build sustainable relationships with customers and sales team
  • Process customer orders and collect payments
  • Manage inventory with operations team
  • Assist accounting with payment processing and statement explanations
  • Utilize software to create reports as needed
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in business, accounting, or related field; or 2 years of equivalent experience
  • Strong attention to detail skills
  • Courteous and polite phone skills
  • Ability to answer customer questions rapidly and professionally with a sense of urgency
  • Sage Software experience a huge plus
  • Basic knowledge of accounting
  • Proficiency in Excel strongly preferred
  • 10Key and accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to multitask in fast-paced office
  • Able to work independently
  • Excellent people skills and able to interact well in a team
  • Able to bring new ideas to the table to make processes and policies more efficient
  • Interest/experience in the lighting industry a plus
