Position Description

The Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies and partnering with internal and external partners to accomplish common goals. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications associated with this role:

Position Details

This is a full-time, hybrid, salaried position, based at Lindsays corporate headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. Some travel is required, including potential for overseas travel (total travel time less than 10%). The ideal candidate will possess excellent relationship management across teams, business units, departments and countries, and communications skills, including the ability to expertly manage multiple projects, deliverables and timelines. The ideal candidate will possess a mastery of project management, coupled with an unwavering commitment to communication excellence and a fervent sense of accountability and determination.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in the ownership and execution of various marketing initiatives. Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the customer experience portal.
  • Collaborating with the global dealer network to create marketing campaigns and collateral, digital content, advertising and other marketing assets.
  • Overseeing the coordination of marketing collateral, digital content and other marketing assets.
  • Managing the OneLindsay e-Store.
  • Supporting tradeshows and events.
  • Providing essential support for brand management activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in marketing, public relations, communications or related field
  • Two to three years of experience in marketing and/or communications
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proven aptitude in writing, editing, and proofreading, with a strong grasp of AP style guidelines
  • Proficiency in standard office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Salesforce experience, including Marketing Cloud Engagement experience a plus
  • Prior experience in agriculture or manufacturing is desirable, though not mandatory
  • Previous agency involvement is highly advantageous and strongly preferred
