Position Summary:
Lindsay Company is seeking a detail-oriented Coordinator for North America Logistics. This role involves supporting the management of inbound, internal, and outbound truckload and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments, primarily to and from the Lindsay Plant. Reporting to the Leader of North America Logistics, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing logistics operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Essential functions:
This role is a full-time position located at the Lindsay, NE location.
- Data Analysis:Collect, analyze, and interpret logistics data to support decision-making and identify trends.
- Operational Support:Assist in day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods and implementing best practices.
- Shipment Coordination:Schedule and track inbound, internal, and outbound truckload and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments in collaboration with the Lindsay third party logistics (3PL) partner.
- Communication & Coordination:Communicate and coordinate with department staff, sales, manufacturing, supply chain, and other relevant functions to ensure efficient transportation services.
- Compliance & Risk Management:Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and assist in risk management strategies.
- Customer Focus:Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure logistics services meet customer expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field, preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain roles, or data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Understanding of transportation management systems (TMS) and relevant technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations.
- Ability to learn and apply new concepts and industry best practices.
- Experience in supporting impactful projects or initiatives.
