Audio Visual (AV) Specialist

Job Summary

**Incumbent must work three days each week in the Omaha, NE office**

We are seeking an Audio Visual (AV) Specialist who will be responsible for the implementation, administration, monitoring and troubleshooting the organizations Audio Visual Technology in conference rooms across local and remote locations. Provides AV support and training for end users related to video conferencing, conference room components, and other audio and video conferencing solutions across all the Associations locations. Lead efforts to work with audio/video solution and support vendors to design, maintain and support all of Associations A/V solutions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Installation and Maintenance

• Install, maintain and be primary technical contact for all A/V related technology.
• Provide technical expertise in the audio video architecture and functionality to teammates through multiple communication channels.
• Secures AV and IoT equipment to meet security standards and close CVEs.
• Stay current with the most recent technology and best practices related to audio/video.
• Facilitate installation, maintenance & repairs of A/V hardware and software either onsite or remotely.
• Setup, interconnect and operate A/V equipment, including: video cameras, video codecs, microphones/speakers, workstations (PC and MAC), display monitors, audio mixers.
• Lead A/V related projects and initiatives.

Support and Monitoring

• Coach other teammates on best practices and assist in meetings, webinars and other A/V functions as appropriate.
• Coordinate with multiple A/V support vendors in all phases of conference room installation and support.
• Maintain thorough inventory of all A/V equipment and supplies.
• Facilitate weekly health checks of each Association conference room and mobile A/V technology.
• Monitor A/V conferencing platform health and report on conferencing utilization and performance metrics.

Travel Time

• 30% travel during the day and overnight

Education Requirements

Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Years of Experience

• 2 + years of experience in experience designing, installing, using and directly supporting conference room audio video technology in a corporate environment with a variety of business hardware and software including Aver, Crestron/AMX, Zoom, cisco and iOS. Experience as a A/V specialist or similar role with knowledge and skills in listed hardware and software preferred.
