Immanuel Communities is seeking a Laundry Tech II to work at Deerfield located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323. Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care/skilled nursing suites.

The schedule for this position is Days Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with every other weekend rotation.

Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

What You Will Do

The overall purpose of this job is provide laundry services for the community in a safe and timely manner. The primary responsibilities of this job include running laundry equipment including washers, dryers, ironing folders, sorting laundry, folding laundry and stocking linen in the appropriate areas. May also assist housekeeping staff as needed.

Skills & Requirements

High School Diploma/GED is preferred.

Laundry experience preferred.

Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
